The OPEN_Borders networked performance system explores the psychological, geographic, and social polarities that lie between and among the specificities of "local" and "distant" performance spaces.

OPEN_Borders' technology features a completely mobile telematic system that combines individually processed audio and video streams (manipulated with max/MSP/jitter/modul8/ableton live/analogue hardware) transmitted via high-bandwidth networks and projected to create a single sensorial space constructed in real-time by the distant and local performers.

The range of performances revolve around specific themes pertaining to the iterative event and can consist of: spoken word, dance, gesture, speeches, live telematic interaction, light installation+ set design, and additonal music - each transmitted through, over and around a simultaneous audio/visual performance by our Musicians, DJs and VJs happening live in the space.


Autopoética trans es una pieza de performance en la que participé, transmitida en tiempo real via internet presentándose internacionalmente en la galería de Diseño y Arte mediático de la Universidad de California en Los Angeles (UCLA), dentro de OPEN_BORDERS.
